Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Specialist to join our team. The Finance Specialist will be responsible for supporting project management activities, ensuring that financial deliverables are completed on time, and meet quality standards. This role requires strong coordination skills, an ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience in project control activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, track actual costs against forecasts, and manage financial reporting for the project. Ensure adherence to financial controls and approval processes.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Assist in identifying, monitoring, and managing project risks and issues. Ensure timely escalation and resolution by working closely with stakeholders.
  • Resource Management: Help in tracking of resource allocations and availability.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Assist/complete monthly status reports, financial reports, and metrics logs. Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Change Control: Assist with change management activities and ensuring proper approval processes are followed.
  • Client Communication: Work with all levels of Management, communicate and issue resolution, and maintaining client satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance Management or a related field is required. 3+ years of Operations Finance experience or in a similar project support role is also necessary. Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is preferred. Additionally, excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients are also required.

A motivated self-starter that takes initiative to bring issues to resolution and Highly organized and business process oriented are must-haves for this position. Ability to work independently while demonstrating flexibility and Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are also necessary.

Moderate/Advanced Excel skills for financial tracking are desired but not mandatory.
