We are seeking a talented and dedicated recruitment professional with specialized expertise in catering to Japanese clients across diverse industries. As a bilingual recruitment consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to conducting interviews, providing endorsements, and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing and Screening: Utilize various channels to source potential Japanese speaking candidates for positions specified by our clients. Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  2. Interviews and Assessments: Conduct virtual interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, language proficiency, and cultural fit for Japanese clients. Administer assessments or tests when necessary.
  3. Endorsements and Recommendations: Provide detailed and accurate candidate endorsements to clients, highlighting their qualifications and suitability for the roles. Offer recommendations based on client preferences and requirements.
  4. Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients. Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  5. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of recruitment processes. Collaborate with colleagues to optimize recruitment strategies and meet client expectations.
  6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of candidate profiles and client communications. Regularly update daily and weekly reports on recruitment metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a bilingual recruiter or in a similar role, preferably within a manpower or consulting company.
  • Strong English skills required. Preferred: JLPT N1/N2 or equivalent Japanese fluency.
  • Adept knowledge of Japanese business culture and hiring practices.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools for sourcing and managing candidate databases.
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Open to working at our office and capable of arranging a functional work-from-home setup when necessary.
