Key Responsibilities
  • Billing and Collections: Manage insurance billing and collections for assigned facilities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims.
  • Claim Review: Thoroughly review and process claims with a high degree of accuracy, investigating any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Billing Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with payers and facility staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Billing Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and documentation, utilizing software and tools to ensure efficient workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Insurance Billing Experience: Proven experience in insurance billing and collections, preferably in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Fast learner with adaptability to new applications and tools, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Tools & Technology
  • Excel: Utilize Excel to manage data and perform calculations.
  • Outlook: Effectively use Outlook to manage communications and stay organized.
  • PCC and NCS: Work efficiently with Point Click Care (PCC) and National Care Systems (NCS) software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
