Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our project management team.

  • This role may encompass responsibilities of either a Quantity Surveyor or an Architect, or potentially both.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Preconstruction activities including takeoff, estimates, scheduling, scope creation, package splitting, tender documentation, and subcontractor communication.
  2. Technical oversight of project execution.
  3. Reviewing plans and proposing value-engineered alternatives.
  4. Contract setup.
  5. Post-contract project management including budget control, procurement, cash flow, and quality control.
  6. Handover processes, operation and maintenance, services, utilities, building control, and warranty management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Proven experience in project management, quantity surveying, or architecture within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, and architectural design.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
