About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Software Development Expert to join our Mobile team in Rizal, PH.

As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for developing and refining Android SDKs, collaborating with designers on UX improvements, and participating in decision-making related to user experience and developer experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve Android Microblink SDKs and contribute to demo applications that showcase the SDK's capabilities.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement UX enhancements.
  • Work with other development teams to integrate new SDK functionalities.
  • Participate in decisions regarding user experience and developer experience.
  • Contribute to establishing good engineering practices in software development.
  • Provide support to developers integrating our SDKs.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Android development.
  • Excellent coding abilities with Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK (version 5.0 and up).
  • Ability to write sustainable, modular, and efficient code.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially when it comes to API design and developer experience in SDK integration.
  • Interest in following the latest trends in mobile development.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing team members.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Kotlin programming language.
  • Experience developing an entire Android application.
  • Experience working with Android NDK and C++.
  • Interest in cross-platform development.
