Job Title:

Operations Supervisor

The Operations Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of a team of call center associates. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring that performance metrics are achieved by providing coaching, motivation, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a group of call center associates, including monitoring work and attendance in accordance with organizational policies and applicable legal requirements.
  • Effectively coach direct reports on their performance to ensure that performance metrics are achieved at minimum weekly intervals.
  • Identify performance-related issues, develop an action plan for improvement, implement corrective action, up to and including termination of employment.
  • Ensure that service delivered to customers meets contractual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and financial expectations.
  • Communicate expectations to employees and provide timely updates.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in handling escalated customer calls as needed.
  • Conduct team meetings to facilitate expedient communication of relevant information and serve as an open forum for input.
  • Stay current on internal work processes, management policies, and procedures.
Candidate Profile:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with two to four years of relevant experience.
  • A highly motivated individual with skills to develop and coach team members to achieve performance expectations.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and follow through on items to completion.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to lead a team in multi-tasking, prioritization, and meeting timelines on deliverables.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and provide direction to a team of employees.
  • Willingsness to work a flexible schedule.

Working Conditions: The Operations Supervisor will be required to work in a fast-paced call center environment, with regular exposure to high levels of stress and pressure. The successful candidate will need to be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and composure.
