The Regional Manager of Facilities is a key member of the SC Johnson Real Estate & Facilities team. This position oversees the governance of an external outsource partner or collaborates with an internal on-site FM team to ensure SC Johnson assets are operated and maintained in a cost-effective manner while providing a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment.
This role serves as the senior Facility Management point of contact in the APAC region, responsible for implementing and overseeing FM strategies, global programs across ~25 sites, and extensive interaction with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless facility services that meet SC Johnson's goal to provide surroundings that inspire our global workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Governance of the 3rd party outsource provider and/or SCJ Facility teams delivering day-to-day facility operations, services, and maintenance activities of owned and leased facilities in the APAC region.
- Regional SCJ point of contact on all facility and real estate matters, including escalation point for SCJ employees.
- Leverages organizational skills, problem-solving, and creative thinking to resolve escalated issues, drive continuous process improvement, and team development.
- Collaboration with global facilities leadership to execute overall global and regional objectives and implement regional-specific operating strategies that achieve long-term asset management plans to preserve or maximize the useful economic life of assets and facilities.
- Regular communication and updates with global stakeholders regarding the quality and adequacy of site services, preparing presentations as needed. Responsible for conducting periodic facility inspections for quality assurance checks.
- Visits to the sites in the region to meet with local site FM teams and key client contacts to collaborate and ensure processes are developed/implemented and preventive maintenance programs are in place complying with global standards.
- Implementation and oversight of global programs into the region (e.g., office sustainability goals, SHE playbook, etc.).
- Development of short-term and long-term maintenance plans based on performance requirements and standards and asset criticality.
- Takes ownership and responsibility for maintaining, reviewing, and updating all applicable regional Facility Management standard operating procedures (SOPs) and developing new SOPs.
- Maintenance of Asset History and Program Documentation.
