Project Coordinator Job Description

The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing bid documents, organizing proposal submissions, and coordinating deadlines.

  • Bid Preparation and Submission:
  • Lead the coordination and preparation of bid packages and proposals for various construction projects.
  • Ensure that all RFPs are submitted internally in a timely manner and in compliance with the requirements set out in the request for proposal (RFP) documents.

Document Management:

  • Manage and organize all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the submission guidelines.

Team Coordination:

  • Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other team members to gather necessary information to facilitate the preparation of comprehensive bids.
  • Independently manage the workload calendar of your assigned region.
  • Extremely organized and meet workload demand and goals.
  • Tracking all customer contacts, bidding the same project for the estimator to send bids to.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Procurement, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with project coordination is preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise documents and correspondence.

Working Conditions:

  • Willing to do onsite work.
  • Open to working for a project-based employment (6 months contract).

This role ensures that all bids are submitted accurately and on time, requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, estimators, and clients to gather required information and coordinate bid submissions.
