Job Title: Earthwork Specialist – Site Development and Construction

Location: Remote (Must be able to work full-time, Monday to Friday)

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Earthwork Specialist to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for a Civil Engineer with strong experience in quantity surveying, takeoffs, and estimating for site development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for civil construction projects using specialized software
  • Review and interpret construction drawings and plans
  • Collaborate with the Draftsman and other team members for seamless coordination
  • Provide timely and accurate support for bid proposals and project planning

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering, Geodetic Engineering, or any similar background required
  • Experience in quantity surveying and takeoffs – required
  • Expertise in earthwork, grading, paving, underground utilities, demolition, and clearing projects
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with specialized software such as Trimble Business Center – required
  • Experience with Agtek or similar tools – preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
