Medical Information Specialist Role

The role is a key position responsible for handling customer inquiries and providing accurate medical information to external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responds to unsolicited customer requests for medical information via various channels, ensuring timely and accurate responses in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provides detailed medical/safety information responses utilizing approved labeling, company standard responses, published literature, and other data sources as necessary.
  • Accurately identifies, documents, and reports adverse events, pregnancy reports, special situation events, and product complaints in a clear and concise manner adhering to government regulations and internal procedures.
  • Maintains quality in all areas of the job including performing quality checks on logged inquiries, correspondence, and adverse events.
  • Collaborates with team members to ensure seamless execution of tasks meets deadlines as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures and Working Practices.
  • Ensures adherence to country-specific privacy policies protecting confidential information and personal data related to clients.
