Job Overview

The Service Role Specialist plays a crucial role in customer satisfaction by effectively communicating with clients on work requests and conveying these to the Production Control and Service Workshop Section. Key skills for this position include excellent communication, documentation of customer concerns, and knowledge of automotive services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns, document issues, and gather detailed information about the vehicle's performance to provide clear explanations of recommended services, repair procedures, and associated costs.
  • Perform vehicle checklists, secure personal belongings of clients, and confirm that customers acknowledge the result of the checklist performed.
  • Coordinate with Production Control for real-time repair status updates, informing customers about progress, including unexpected issues or changes in cost.
  • Inspect the actual condition of the vehicle, confirm that requested jobs are completed, and explain to the customer the details of the job/s performed, including the actual cost of repairs and additional recommendations.
  • Prepare Body Repair and General Repair estimates from repair recommendations at all times, ensuring that estimates are communicated to the customer and converted to actual jobs.
  • Prepare and maintain sales reports regarding the status of all accounts.
