Administrative Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in a healthcare setting. This role involves managing administrative tasks, ensuring accurate patient records, and providing support to the medical team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain patient records using electronic medical records systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Perform various clerical duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks and documentation, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure proper filing and retrieval of electronic medical records, maintaining confidentiality and security at all times.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide support for appointment scheduling and follow-ups, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Maintain inventory levels of medical supplies and assist with ordering processes, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to services.
  • Provide administrative support for office management tasks as needed, including data entry, report generation, and other related duties.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and healthcare management software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
