Role Summary:

The Remote System Administrator is a key member of our team, responsible for providing 24x7 production support in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform daily maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of Linux systems and services
  • Triage and resolve issues and escalate when necessary
  • Investigate alerts and coordinate responses, document and communicate effectively with the team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year of production Linux system administration experience, strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Proficient in Bash scripting with ability to understand and modify GoLang and Perl
  • Familiarity with user management, configuration and package management best practices
  • Experience managing Proxmox or similar Linux KVM hypervisor

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of APACHE, NGINX, HAPROXY, MYSQL, REDIS, MEMCACHE, SCYLLADB, ELASTICSEARCH, RABBITMQ, NAGIOS, PROMETHEUS, GRAFANA, PROXMOX, BASH, PERL, GO, PHP, CEPH, CFENGINE, GIT, DOCKER, JUNIPER
