The Reliability Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the dependability and effectiveness of our equipment, processes, and people. This involves providing engineering support to guarantee the reliability, operability, availability, and maintainability of our steam fields' equipment, processes, and personnel.

This position is critical in optimizing generation, minimizing costs, and achieving performance objectives.

  • Implement Reliability and Integrity Management Process (RIM) programs to ensure consistency and efficiency in our maintenance activities.
  • Lead the review of maintenance philosophies in collaboration with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) personnel on existing and new equipment through Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA) and/or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) philosophies and recommend Preventive/Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) techniques and other improvements as necessary.
  • Provide reliability data interpretation, analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
  • Develop and calculate reliability metrics as a basis for reliability improvements/programs.
  • C coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) Group in implementing inspection/reliability programs to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Support asset expense and capital projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational requirements, engineering codes, and industry standards, QA/QC programs, and government regulations.
  • Coach and mentor other engineers to develop their skills and competencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Reliability and/or Maintenance Engineering.
  • Experience in facilitating Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and/or Failure Modes & Effect Analysis (FMEA) workshops is preferred.
  • Well-versed in engineering codes, industry standards, and practices.
  • Experience in Process Engineering and Project Engineering is an advantage.
  • Willingness to be based in Bay, Laguna.
