Plant Maintenance Engineering Manager Position

The Plant Maintenance Engineering Manager is accountable for ensuring regular inspections and preventive maintenance of plant machinery to identify and address issues before they escalate.

This involves planning timely repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve malfunctions.

  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure high equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Collaborate with production teams to plan and execute maintenance tasks with minimal operational disruption.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Stay current on industry best practices, technologies, and innovations in plant maintenance to improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures during all maintenance activities.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of maintenance tasks with minimal operational disruption.
  • Maintenance of detailed records of maintenance activities.
  • Root cause analysis of equipment failures and implementation of corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field is required, along with relevant experience in plant or industrial maintenance roles.
