Job Role: Financial Analyst

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support to clients, including the preparation of financial statements and tax returns. This involves working closely with clients to extract data from their accounting programs, providing training on the use of these programs, and answering their queries.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, income tax returns, and Business Activity Statements for various entities.
  • Remain up-to-date with tax law changes and interpret and understand tax law, explaining it to clients.
  • Maintain client history, trust details, and ensure accurate completion of financial statements and tax returns across all entity types.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must possess a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting or a similar relevant qualification, as well as 2+ years' experience in a similar role. Additionally, you should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and be able to adapt quickly to new software such as Xero, MYOB, and/or QuickBooks.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting or similar relevant qualification.
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
