We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Controller to manage aged debt reports, clear receipts from payments and ensure timely client payments. The position requires strong communication skills and financial knowledge.

Job Type: Full-Time, Remote

Years of Experience: 3 to 4

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and review aged debt reports to identify overdue payments
  • Clear receipts and match them with the corresponding payments
  • Contact clients via phone regarding outstanding invoices
  • Negotiate payment commitments and follow up to ensure timely payments
  • Perform credit checks on new clients and update credit limits accordingly
  • Set up new clients in the system and maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with the finance team to resolve any payment discrepancies
  • Monitor and report on collection progress to senior management
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to handle phone conversations effectively
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Knowledge of credit checks and debt collection processes
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
