The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, leveraging your cloud computing and cybersecurity background to support sales teams in complex technical environments. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in promoting Varonis solutions through product demonstrations, customer guidance, and strategic account planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive product proposals, including architecture diagrams and implementation strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, offering guidance on best practices for data security, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Contribute to sales strategy development and account planning to achieve revenue targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to effectively position Varonis solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales roles, with a focus on cloud computing and cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with data security concepts, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets.
