Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

The role of Business Intelligence Analyst involves the creation and maintenance of data-driven dashboards and reports that enable informed decision-making across the organization. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team and contribute to this critical function.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of data visualization best practices, and the ability to translate business needs into meaningful visual reports. Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling is essential, as is experience working with SQL and relational databases.

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into functional BI solutions.
  • Integrate data from various sources such as SQL databases, Excel files, APIs, and cloud services.
  • Create data models and DAX calculations to ensure accurate and meaningful visualizations.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and usability of reports.
  • Conduct data analysis to support strategic initiatives and provide actionable insights.
  • Provide training and support to business users on Power BI tools and self-service capabilities.
  • Stay current with Power BI and broader data visualization trends and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 2+ years of experience working with Power BI in a data analysis or business intelligence capacity.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) experience.
  • Proficiency to deliver business insights and create data visualizations.
