As a Partner Technical Specialist in Power, you will be instrumental in expanding the capabilities and capacity of our ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with partners to build trust and understand their offerings, co-creating solutions that demonstrate the value of our relationship and motivate them to include our solutions in client proposals.
  • Conduct pre-sales technical activities such as technology demonstrations and co-creation sessions that lead to proofs of concept (PoC) and/or minimal viable products (MVPs).
  • Lead delivery of joint-learning activities to build technical skills and expertise of partners, enabling co-selling opportunities.
  • Continuously expand essential business, industry, technology, architecture, and competitive knowledge in Infrastructure.
  • Foster a growth-minded culture, co-creation, and technical eminence to deliver value that leverages industry, brand, and portfolio expertise to drive innovations that accelerate partners' success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep technical expertise in Power product portfolio: Demonstrable client-facing deep technical subject matter expertise within the Power brand product portfolio, with ability to engage in complex architectural conversations.
  • Excellence in communication and collaboration: Proven excellence in people, communication, and collaboration skills, with track record of networking and influencing at all levels, throughout successful closure of complex technology sales cycles achieved both independently and through teamwork.
  • Attention to detail and system usage: Proven discipline and attention to detail with usage of sales management and recording systems, as well as efficient expectation setting and follow-up practices.
  • Translation of business goals into technical solutions: Collaborating to translate business objectives into technical solutions and advising teams on optimal technology strategies to achieve business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of the Power market: Comprehensive understanding of the Power market, enabling to consult, advise, and swiftly establish reputation as credible, trusted advisor for clients. Training on IBM's Power offerings will be provided.
  • Understanding of IBM's product suite: Strong comprehension of IBM's extensive product suite. Full training on IBM's technologies will be provided.
