Power Electronics Specialist

Our ideal candidate is a skilled Power Electronics Specialist who can conceptualize, design, and develop high-performance power supplies. The successful applicant will possess expertise in circuit operation, failure analysis, and simulation tools.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and qualify high-performance switch mode power supplies.
  • Collaborate on design conceptualization, schematic generation, mechanical packaging, and PCB layout.
  • Conduct circuit breadboarding, fine-tuning, power-up, testing, and verification of specifications compliance.
  • Perform Design Verification Test (DVT) and circuit simulation and tolerance analysis.
  • Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) with emphasis on component cost and quality.
  • Participate in project planning and organization.
  • Ensure parts in the BOM are qualified, preferred, and sourced from multiple suppliers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
  • 2+ years relevant work experience in switch mode power supply design, using simulations tools, and research & development.
  • Knowledgeable in circuit operation, failure analysis, and very good communication skills.
