Automation Specialist

As a skilled automation expert, you will play a vital role in streamlining our internal operations and eliminating manual tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy end-to-end automation workflows using n8n, Make, and Google Apps Script to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Connect APIs, CRMs, eComm platforms, spreadsheets, and internal tools to centralize and automate business processes.
  • Troubleshoot broken workflows and improve system reliability and scalability to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and build automation solutions that support scalable growth.
  • Document all automation flows, logic paths, and key processes for easy reference.
  • Maintain a repository of reusable scripts and modules for future use and reuse.
  • Train team members on how to use or trigger specific automations when necessary.
Performance Metrics:
  • Deliver and deploy at least 3 major automation flows per month to drive business results.
  • Reduce manual hours in specific teams by 30%+ within the first 90 days.
  • Maintain a workflow uptime of 95%+ to ensure business continuity.
  • Complete 100% documentation of all launched automations for easy reference.
Success Indicators:
  • First 30 Days: Onboard into our systems and tools, audit existing automations, and identify top 5 automation opportunities across departments.
  • First 60 Days: Launch at least 2 fully functional automation flows, document processes, and build a naming/standardization system.
  • First 90 Days: Become the go-to person for any automation-related needs, own and maintain a workflow dashboard visible to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must-Have Skills:
    • Strong experience using n8n, Make, and Google Apps Script.
    • Understanding of API integrations, webhooks, and JSON.
    • Ability to map complex processes into clear logic flows.
    • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills:
    • Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon, or other eComm platforms.
    • Experience in low-code platforms like Airtable, Notion, or Zapier.
    • Prior work in fast-paced startups or agencies.
Experience & Education:
  • 2–3+ years in automation, scripting, or systems integrations.
  • No formal degree required—just proof of hands-on experience.
