Job Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to work as part-time disaster relief call center agents. This is a temporary, remote position contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs.

Candidates accepted for this role will be contacted on an as-needed basis to discuss available shifts from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM ET.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support via phone calls
  • Learn common customer requests and solutions
  • Improve the overall customer experience
  • Utilize established service techniques and systems
  • Evaluate and escalate customer dissatisfaction to proper channels

You must be confident, fully engaged, and dedicated to delivering top-notch service to our customers. A positive and enthusiastic outlook is essential for success in this role.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
  • Customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers

This is a part-time hourly position based on business need. The expected duration is until the end of the year with possible extensions.
