Product Development Specialist

We are seeking a Product Development Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth product development lifecycle, managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and analyzing financial data to ensure profitable partnerships.
The Product Development Specialist will work closely with our Product Development team to source new suppliers, manage timelines, and meet deadlines. This role requires strong organizational skills and agility to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers, including all direct communication, sample sourcing, pricing negotiation, and timeline management to ensure suppliers meet all required deadlines.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses for new & ongoing products, including cost and margin analysis, using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to ensure profitable outcomes.
- Product Development Support: Work closely with the product development team to understand product requirements and ensure that activities align with product development timelines and budgets.
- Sourcing New Suppliers: Identify and source new suppliers to meet business needs, including researching and evaluating potential suppliers for new or existing projects.
- Timeline Management: Manage timelines and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of all new products launched per season.
Requirements for this role include:
- 2+ years of experience in Product Development.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in Financial Analysis and Data Analysis using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- English.
