Product Listing Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Listing Specialist to manage and expand product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to adapt product descriptions to meet marketplace restrictions.

Responsibilities
  • Create, manage, and optimize product listings (100+ items) across various platforms including Shopify, eBay, Etsy, 1stDibs, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, AptDeco, and others.
  • Develop strategic wording to list items correctly and ensure compliance with each platform's requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory across all sales channels.
  • Research and recommend cross-posting automation tools to streamline workflows.
  • Brainstorm and execute strategies to target niche buyers such as home decorators and auction platforms.
  • Prepare and format auction submissions for LiveAuctioneers, including organizing product details in their required spreadsheet format, numbering and naming photos per LiveAuctioneers' specifications, and pulling and preparing images from cloud storage for upload.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for approvals and updates.
  • Monitor listing performance and provide regular reports.
  • Edit and enhance product images using Photoshop or similar tools.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in e-commerce listings or online marketplace management.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor descriptions for different platforms.
  • Familiarity with various e-commerce platforms including Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, eBay, 1stDibs, Facebook Marketplace, and AptDeco.
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices.
  • Basic image editing skills preferably with Photoshop or Canva.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Experience creating auction listings.
  • Proficiency with platforms like LiveAuctioneers is required.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience using platforms like Chairish and Ruby Kane is a plus.
