The role of a Software Support Specialist involves providing technical assistance to customers. This position is ideal for individuals who wish to pursue a career in software support and technology services.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Knowledge & Support:
- Develop foundational knowledge of software products and services.
- Provide first-line support for common product issues and configurations.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve technical issues with guidance from senior team members.
- Collect and analyze technical data to identify root causes of issues.
- Process & Communication:
- Adhere to established incident management processes and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain clear and timely communication with customers regarding issue status and resolution.
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with peers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems.
Technical Qualifications include proficiency in Web Applications, Tomcat, and Web Services as well as strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.
Basic Qualifications include educational qualifications in any recognized discipline and proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Additional Skills & Attributes include excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
