
Learning and Development Specialist

This role involves supporting and coordinating employee development through various learning interventions and programs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing training needs, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials, and coordinating all phases of training interventions.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Learning and Development Officer/Lead in accomplishing learning deliverables and execution.
- Create marketing and multimedia materials to promote learning initiatives.
- Evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to identify training needs.
- Perform administrative tasks such as training invites, coordination with participants, monitoring/updating trackers, expenses, and liquidations.
- Develop learning materials, handouts, aids, and manuals to support employee development.
- Audit new hires to the organization and conduct orientation sessions.
- Coordinate with external learning providers to ensure effective delivery of training programs.
- Communicate learning promotions and initiatives to employees.
- Evaluate training effectiveness to ensure the incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees' work behavior.
- Knowledge of learning principles and adult education.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to master the full training cycle.
- Familiarity with learning management software.
- Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database software.
