The role of Administrative Support Specialist is crucial in managing employee data, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring the accuracy of benefits enrollment. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Process eligibility changes for employees
- Send enrollments to service providers via email or system uploads
- Follow up to ensure updates were successfully completed
- Perform data entry in various service provider systems to add or terminate employees
- Audit internal systems against service provider invoices for accuracy
- Coordinate with service providers and internal systems to develop and maintain connections
- College undergraduate or graduate degree
- 1–2 years of administrative experience
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and employee benefits administration (preferred)
- Accuracy and attention to detail in data handling
- Familiarity with various service provider systems and portals
- Strong communication skills across email, phone, and fax
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
- Experience in auditing and discrepancy resolution
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team
