Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to join our team as a Senior IT Auditor. As a key member of the audit department, you will play a vital role in evaluating and improving our internal controls, IT systems, and risk management processes.

This position requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify internal control weaknesses and follow up to ensure appropriate remediation. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting IT audits in alignment with our audit plan or as requested by management or the Audit Committee.

Additionally, you will support the assessment of Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICFR), including IT process walkthroughs, control testing, and reporting. You will also prepare high-quality audit workpapers and formal reports detailing observations and recommendations.

As a Senior IT Auditor, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with control owners and external auditors throughout the audit lifecycle. You will also educate stakeholders on internal control requirements and promote audit awareness across the organization.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit, preferably within a publicly traded company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, controls, and processes, including experience with ERP systems, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in auditing IT General Controls (ITGCs), automated controls, and key reports supporting financial processes.
  • Knowledge of internal control frameworks such as COSO and COBIT, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work.
