Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our DBA team, you will be responsible for providing database administrative support for all DTCC environments.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of all aspects of MSSQL database administration and the ability to support other database platforms including both Aurora PostgreSQL and Oracle.

The successful candidate will ensure optimal performance, data security, and reliability of our database infrastructure by implementing and managing high availability solutions, supporting development, QA, PSE, and production environments, reviewing production performance reports, and optimizing SQL queries and indexes.

Additionally, the candidate will maintain database performance, perform database backup and recovery strategy, provide third-level support for critical production environments, participate in root cause analysis, design and code utilities, prepare users through training and documentation, and maintain professional and technical knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Required Skills
  • Strong Oracle knowledge of 19c, 21c, and 22c
  • Solid understanding in MSSQL Server and Aurora Postgres database
  • Strong knowledge in Python and Angular
  • Working knowledge of Oracle's Golden gate Replication technology
  • Hands-on experience in Python, Ansible, and other scripting languages to automate tasks
