About the Role

As a seasoned Bookkeeper, you will play a vital part in ensuring our organization runs smoothly. With exceptional attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills, you will be instrumental in delivering top-notch service to support our growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, GL coding, vendor maintenance, and general record-keeping.
  • Building strong relationships across departments by managing billing and payment issues with timely resolution.
  • Processing corporate credit cards in accordance with internal policies and controls.
  • Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and annual close activities, preparing additional reports as requested by senior management.
  • Reviewing and auditing credit card statements and charges to ensure entries and limits are correct.
  • Suggesting changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
  • Liaising between business units to ensure sales commissions are processed on time.
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and analysis, focusing on marketing research, competitive intelligence, and other areas as requested.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, marketing research, and email marketing.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (desired).
  • At least 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, with QuickBooks proficiency required.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, work independently, and organize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite of Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
  • Trustworthiness in maintaining confidential information.
Home Office Setup

We require a reliable home office setup to ensure seamless productivity. Please note the following requirements:

  • A stable internet connection with at least 50 Mbps postpaid speed.
  • A computer with at least 8GB RAM and an Intel i5 core processor or equivalent.
  • Noise-cancelling headset.
  • Backup internet connection (prepaid home Wi-Fi router or pocket Wi-Fi).
