Job Opportunity:

The role of the Head of Credit Operations involves spearheading the development and implementation of credit risk policies and procedures tailored to real estate transactions. This position will be responsible for assessing borrower creditworthiness, making informed decisions on credit approvals or escalations, and closely monitoring the performance of the credit portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Credit Policy & Strategy: Establish and maintain effective credit risk policies and procedures that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Credit Evaluation & Approval: Lead the assessment of borrower creditworthiness, utilizing expert judgment to approve or escalate credit decisions as necessary.
  • Portfolio Risk Management: Continuously monitor the performance of the credit portfolio, identifying emerging risks and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Team Leadership: Effectively manage and mentor a team of skilled credit analysts and underwriters, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in tandem with various teams, including legal, finance, and property management, to ensure seamless deal execution and optimal risk alignment.
