Global Business Development Leadership

We are seeking an exceptional leader to provide strategic guidance and direction to our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the business development role and have expertise in coaching and leading teams to success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, develop, and coach a team of hybrid BDRs to exceed quarterly and annual new business pipeline generation targets for Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Expand the team using a foundational Business Development team plan and drive consistent attainment of goals across the team.
  • Support Business Development Reps through onboarding, ramp up, and ongoing coaching and development.
  • Develop a solid understanding of Cofense's technology stack to support the BDR team with lead follow-up and proactive outreach.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and hold daily team 'huddles' to share best practices.
  • Coach direct reports regarding strategies to increase conversion rates across the board.
  • Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Recruitment, and HR teams.
  • Attend weekly Sales Team meetings to maintain alignment with the Field Sales team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Demonstrable understanding of the Business Development role.
  • Expertise in coaching and leading business development teams to success.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of information security concepts.
  • Ability to work as part of a virtual cross-functional team.
