Technical Support Specialist

The IT Systems Support Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations within an organization's technical infrastructure. This position requires an individual with strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Desktop Support
- Install, relocate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktop devices and software applications.
- Organize and prioritize assigned tickets to ensure timely resolution.
- Implement site-level upgrades, application rollouts, and client-specific ramp activities related to the desktop environment.
- Provide first-line support for corporate I.T., addressing voice and data infrastructure issues at the site level.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a combination of education and certifications.
- Possession of A+ certification is advantageous; MCDST or current MCSE highly desirable.
- Experience supporting desktops, laptops, handheld devices, and remote voice/data infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and software deployment.
