
Customer Service Professional

The Customer Service Representative position interfaces with customers via various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, or online platforms.
This role provides customer service support and resolution of routine issues related to products or services.
Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of excellent customer service that meets contractual Key Performance Indicators ('KPIs')
- Clarify customer requirements; probe for understanding, utilize decision-support tools and resources to provide effective resolutions to customers
- Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while building rapport with the customer
- Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with customers
- Prepare accurate and complete work, including notation of accounts as required
- Participate in activities designed to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance
- Offer additional products and/or services
- Track, document, and retrieve information in call tracking databases
- Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to relevant materials, secondary sources, or senior staff
A high school diploma with three to six months of relevant experience is preferred.
