Supply Planning Lead Job Description

The Supply Planning Lead plays a pivotal role in spearheading the Supply Planning team, ensuring seamless workforce allocation and capacity management across multiple programs/accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops strategic plans to allocate workforces effectively, balancing operational demands with planned and unplanned absenteeism.
  • Monitors capacity utilization, identifies gaps, and recommends adjustments to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborates with Operations to understand staffing requirements and ensures optimal full-time equivalent (FTE) coverage.
  • Leads data-driven strategies balancing priorities and timelines of multiple business units.
Leadership and People Management:
  • Coaches and develops Supply Planning Specialists/Analysts to deliver accurate, timely workforce plans.
  • Set performance goals, provides feedback, and conducts reviews.
  • Built collaborative high-performance teams culture.
Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting:
  • Coordinates client planning for new buildouts.
  • Primary contact for capacity and resource allocation discussions with account/program leaders.
  • Prepares presented workforce planning reports recommendations senior leadership.
