Job Overview

This position entails processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts payable transactions and managing payment runs while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process, code and enter supplier invoices in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP systems.
  • Match purchase orders with supplier invoices and delivery dockets.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and supplier statements to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs according to established procedures.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve payment queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation to support business operations.
  • Support month-end closing tasks and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to resolve invoice or delivery issues efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies to maintain financial integrity.
  • Provide support for bank reconciliations as required by the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Bookkeeping is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar role is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or other ERP tools is mandatory.
  • Experience in supply chain, wholesale or industrial products sector is advantageous.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions is crucial.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite is expected.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is required.
