
Remote Intake Professional

Job Role:
A remote intake specialist is needed to provide top-notch customer support and service to patients via phone calls. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong desire to help others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage incoming patient calls in a friendly, professional manner.
- Collect and record detailed client information, including personal details, location, and a summary of symptoms or chief complaints.
- Schedule same-day or urgent appointments accordingly, coordinating with doctors and inputting all details into the scheduling system.
- Determine and assign the appropriate doctor for each case based on patient symptoms, location, and timing.
- Communicate promptly with doctors to confirm their availability and provide necessary patient details.
- Send out confirmation details and informative follow-ups to patients and doctors via email or other means.
- Proactively manage and resolve logistical issues that may occur during the intake or appointment process.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in a customer service, patient intake, or call center role.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent English proficiency, and a clear speaking voice.
- Strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple incoming calls, scheduling tasks, and follow-ups without dropping details.
- Comfortable using technology to facilitate workflow, with experience in electronic medical records (EMRs), scheduling software, or CRM tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor tech issues independently and think critically to effectively match doctors with patients.
Working Conditions:
- A reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional environment for taking calls.
- Must have the necessary hardware (computer, headset) to perform the job without interruptions.
Shift Structure:
- Four fixed shifts per day: 12:00 AM – 4:00 AM, 4:00 AM – 8:00 AM, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
- Only three OptiNizers are scheduled at any given time, with each working a maximum of two shifts per day (up to 8 hours).
- Staffing is evenly rotated to ensure fairness and prevent burnout, with a minimum 8-hour break between shifts.
