Job Title: Regulatory and Financial Risk Specialist

  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management in the financial services sector.
  • Participate in industry consultations, develop solutions, and bring them to market.
  • Oversee in-house advisory, training, and knowledge management activities.
  • Contribute to global regulatory initiatives.
  • Support audit engagement teams with regulatory compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and provide expert advice.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Possesses a degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accountancy, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally within banking or financial services, with strong knowledge of financial markets and the banking industry.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA) are strongly preferred.
  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude when facing challenges.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills.
  • Shows a keen interest in developing expertise in financial sector regulations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to present a clear thought process and operate effectively at both conceptual and practical levels.
  • Willing and able to manage multiple demands and priorities efficiently.
