About Our Finance Team
We are seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our accounting operations, including managing full sets of accounts for all subsidiaries and related companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounting Operations: Manage full sets of accounts for all subsidiaries and related companies, ensuring timely monthly closings and accurate reporting.
- Lead General Ledger Transactions: Oversee general ledger transactions, bank reconciliations, and schedules, ensuring correctness and timely submission for review.
- Prepare Financial Reports: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, along with budgeting, cash flow management, foreign exchange, and financial projections.
- Conduct Statutory Consolidation: Conduct statutory consolidation and prepare group consolidated financial statements.
- Review Financial Policies: Review, develop, and implement financial policies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Improve Processes: Continuously improve the ERP system and processes for operational efficiency.
- Lead Credit Control: Lead credit control reviews and oversee collection effectiveness.
- Manage Audits and Taxes: Manage statutory audits, including preparation of financial statements and coordination with external auditors. Handle the company's tax matters, including quarterly GST filings and corporate tax.
- Liaise with Stakeholders: Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and other external parties or stakeholders.
- Participate in Projects: Participate in various projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, ACCA qualifications, or equivalent.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in an audit firm.
- Strong leadership skills with a willingness to support team members in all areas.
- Meticulous attention to detail, results-oriented with a sharp business acumen.
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
