Senior Data Engineer Role

As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a critical role in the preparation, maintenance, and operation of large-scale data pipelines that deliver complex datasets.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and operate scalable data systems to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain standards for data architecture and engineering.
  • Act as a data custodian responsible for sourcing and preparing quality and trusted data.
  • Deploy machine learning and analytics models into production environments.
  • Optimize data collection processes by improving technology and infrastructure over time.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in Business Analytics, Engineering, or Data Science (Desirable).
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, including Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, and Big Query.
  • Familiarity with ETL, big data pipeline concepts, and data modeling techniques.
  • High-level understanding of design patterns and software development principles.
