Job Description

Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise a team of insurance verification specialists to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to enhance team members' skills and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and achievement of goals.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures for insurance verification.
  • Oversee the verification of patient insurance coverage and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support team members in resolving insurance-related inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Assist in coordinating the authorization process for medical procedures and services requiring pre-authorization.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to obtain authorizations and resolve authorization-related issues.
  • Monitor authorization status and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely approvals.
  • Collaborate with billing and coding teams to address insurance-related claim rejections and denials.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in insurance coverage and billing information.
  • Provide guidance on optimizing claim submission and reimbursement processes.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure team members are proficient in insurance verification procedures and software.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of tenure in current role.
  • No disciplinary actions for the past 12 months.
  • Knowledge in Healthcare Operations specifically Insurance Verification is required.
  • Proactive identification of challenges and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Professional and effective communication skills.
