Job Title: Operations Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced team lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our finance and administrative teams. This role will involve leading a team of professionals, overseeing project management, and ensuring smooth workflow transitions.

  • Lead and supervise teams handling financial management and administrative activities.
  • Plan, monitor, and balance workload of the team.
  • Monitor resource utilization and staff performance (processing speed and quality).
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and guidance.
  • Plan transitions of new processes and scope based on onshore requirements.
  • Lead knowledge transfer activities for smooth transition of new processes and scope.
  • Prepare work statistics and monthly/ad-hoc reports required by onshore PMO Lead or Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external parties.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.
  • Experience with Power Automate and Power BI is an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance and admin operations, preferably in IT industry.
  • Leading a team of more than 10 staff, efficient leadership, coaching, and supervision skills.
  • Good leadership qualities, verbalizing Shared Services Centre mission, motivating staff to high service quality.
  • Able to work in a matrix organization, multi-task, manage tight deadlines, and possess a keen eye for details and numbers.
  • Structured, organized, proactive, independent, self-motivated, strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
