The Home-Based Claims Representative will be responsible for investigating and resolving customer claims associated with promotional product orders. This includes identifying the root cause, determining the appropriate resolution, and collaborating with internal departments to gather relevant information.
Effective communication is critical in this role, requiring professional and empathetic interaction throughout the claims process. Regular updates, explanations of investigation findings, and presentation of resolution options are essential.
Documentation and reporting are key components of this role, involving accurate and thorough documentation of all claims, outcomes, communications, and resolution actions within internal systems. Quality feedback ensures that recurring issues are identified and escalated to drive improvements in product quality and vendor accountability.
This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines is crucial in ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer claims.
In addition to resolving customer complaints, the Home-Based Claims Representative will also be responsible for coordinating and processing claims resolutions, including product reprints, credits, refunds, replacements, or discounts.
