Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your analytical skills to manage cash receipts, conduct collection activities, and provide timely forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate daily cash receipts, perform collection activities for third-party clients, cover vessels during team member leave, and provide monthly collections forecast.
  • Review and post cash receipts to Shipsure daily.
  • Continually review and follow-up on cash on account to minimize unnecessary credit balance.
  • Deliver cash forecast to the Mumbai team at the start of each month.
  • Update ledgers daily with paid item reports to maintain up-to-date collections data.
  • Contact customers via email and phone calls.
  • Update debt reports with customer comments and collection activity details.
  • Send statements and copy invoices to customers; assist in recommending credit limits for new client credit applications.
  • Proactively identify and resolve disputed invoices with relevant teams.
  • Monitor progress on cash collection targets and aged debt targets.
