Accounting Professional Needed

We are seeking a skilled accounting professional with expertise in property management and financial analysis to manage our company's financial transactions, ensure accuracy in accounting records, and provide valuable financial insights to support business decisions.

This role is crucial in managing day-to-day accounting functions for real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting tasks for real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Utilize AppFolio to manage property accounting, tenant ledgers, rent payments, owner statements, and property reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts using QuickBooks Online to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounting and finance.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with AppFolio required.
    • Strong QuickBooks Online skills with proven track record of accurate bookkeeping.
    • In-depth understanding of financial workflows, including rent collection, owner payouts, and property expense tracking.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
