We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Development Professional to join our team in the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the portfolio performance of the Southeast Asia and the Pacific team by performing specific responsibilities. This includes providing technical assistance in project processing, administration, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project and TA processing by assisting in the preparation of project concept notes, reports, and recommendation of the President (RRPs); project administration manual (PAM) and other project related documents;
  • Review and provide inputs to TA reports, RRPs, and PAM for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with ADB's policies and procedures.
  • Update PAM during review missions and support preparation of project and TA administration memos.
  • Regularly update project related systems for processing milestones and project performance reporting.
  • Provide timely guidance to executing and implementing agency and colleagues in the administration of loans, TAs, and/or grants.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related fields; preferably with advanced training.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management and implementation in the AFNR sector.
  • Strong analytical ability to undertake research and analysis, collect and organize data and information, and draft documents.
  • Experience and knowledge of various stages of the project cycle is desirable.
