Job Description

As a seasoned project leader, you will play a critical role in driving success within our Global Delivery Center (GDC) organization. Your primary responsibility will be to provide strategic support to GDC team members, fostering engagement and effective people management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. You will work closely with GDC Leadership, Operations, and Resource Management to optimize project staffing and ensure seamless delivery of projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to mentor staff in Agile methodologies and best practices, enhancing their skills and contributing to the growth and development of the team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with GDC Consulting Operations to identify and assign project resources to client engagements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage small concurrent client projects while maintaining oversight to identify risk, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Mentor staff in Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Oversee resource planning and coordination of project activities between client and internal/external resources.
  • Ensure that bench time for consultants is used to improve skills in line with Practice technology roadmaps.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in client relationship management and expectation setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively up to Executive Levels.
  • Extensive experience aligning diverse teams across multiple locations to deliver projects in alignment with project commitments.
  • Deep understanding of internal stakeholder management, people management, and software project delivery.
  • Ability to lay out sound work plans and resolve competing trade-offs.
