Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to oversee the management of cash applications, billing, credit & collections, general ledger, and revenue accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Applications & Dispute Management
  • Process cash and payments accurately and timely.
  • Manage disputes, research, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Billing & Invoicing
  • Prepare, review, and issue invoices in compliance with company policies.
  • Manage large volumes of billing transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Credit & Collections
  • Conduct payment collections, follow-ups, and delinquency management.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and escalate issues as needed.
  • Resolve account discrepancies using analytical skills.
  • General Ledger & Accounting
  • Prepare journal entries, perform month-end closing activities, and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
  • Revenue Accounting / Recognition
  • Review journal entries and reconciliations related to revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, deferred revenue rules, SOX controls, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors when needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related business course (CPA preferred).
  • College undergraduates with relevant accounting knowledge/experience may be considered for Billing positions.
  • 3–5 years' experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Cash Applications / Payment Applications / Dispute Management
  • Billing & Invoicing
  • Credit & Collections
  • General Ledger / General Accounting
  • Revenue Accounting / Revenue Recognition
  • Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience working with US or multinational clients is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Macros, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines is essential.
