Job Summary

This role will be part of the organization's internal control program management office, overseeing and managing compliance within the company. The individual in this position will work across the organization to ensure that the internal control program provides support to process owners and evolves with the company as new products are developed and existing processes are improved.

About the Role

The IT Controls Analyst II will report to the Head of Internal Control while supporting the IT internal control manager. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure internal control program compliance and design processes and controls to mitigate financial reporting risks.

  • Support internal control managers in conducting risk assessments and defining scoping activities to ensure appropriate coverage of systems, reports, and controls.
  • Assist process owners with designing processes and controls to mitigate financial reporting risks and provide guidance on control readiness for business-as-usual processes.
  • Assist with internal control documentation and related activities, such as reviewing and updating process flowcharts and risk-control matrices.
  • Participate in walkthroughs and test of design and coordinate responses to audit requests.
Responsibilities

This role involves a range of responsibilities including:

  • Collaborating with internal and external auditors to respond to audit requests and inquiries.
  • Tracking and validating remediation plans for previously identified issues.
  • Designing, validating, and executing controls over key reports and spreadsheets to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data sources.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT general controls (ITGCs) and application controls.
  • Familiarity with agile environments and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.
  • Good working knowledge of internal control frameworks and standards.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP is preferred.
